It's hard to believe, but 2011- 12 School Year is quickly approaching the end! What a whirlwind of budget, issues, interviews & events-- and a committed group of individuals, families and faculty working for our kids. 100% Attendance so far at BOE meetings, and so far, I've attended an event at every elementary, middle and high school. I made a commitment to the voters and continue to deliver and continue supporting my family, and other board commitments. As a WYSL Coach, I'm enjoying my daughter's U8 Soccer team the best, and the "Hornets" team spirit!

Diversity Day Brings Hawaiian Cheer to Wallingford!

What a journey to Hawaii and a spirit second grade class at E.C. Stevens, and "Diversity Day". I enjoyed the morning reading and answering questions with the group.

 

Mrs. Stango and the students shared their ethnicity and zeal to embrace everyone's diversity!

Mansfield joins 6 Moms on a Mission to Ethiopia, bringing home, humanitarian aid and education!

What an honor to complete a Mission trip to Ethiopia this month with the Baer Essentials Foundation. A group of five local 'moms' served the village of Dahley with 200+ pounds of humanitarian aid, painting the local school and teaching English.

 

What wondrous support we enjoyed from so many to bring hope and the power of education 7,500 miles away!!
